How can we adapt our social media practices in the face of climate disinformation?
Session MédiaCombating climate disinformation
2026-06-23 | 03:30 PM - 04:30 PM | Saint-Romain Hall
Information
Deceptive AI-generated videos, hyper-realistic montages, and more broadly, climate misinformation are rampant on social media.
This phenomenon is exacerbated by algorithms based on reactions generated, thus causing disinformation to explode, particularly during extreme weather events.
These harmful effects raise questions about our use of social media. How can we use it effectively? How can we adapt our communication?
Through practical case studies, this workshop will explore good communication practices in an environment saturated with sometimes contradictory messages.
