A gala evening with added gastronomic and heritage flavors
A 15-minute walk or tram ride from the Exhibition and Congress Centre, an open-air gourmet cocktail dinner is offered on Wednesday, June 24th in the historic courtyards of the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy, which houses the Dijon Museum of Fine Arts and its famous Hall of Tombs.
Half-timbered houses, glazed tiles, hidden courtyards of private mansions, Romanesque and Gothic churches with their mysterious gargoyles grace the medieval streets of Dijon, of which the Palace of the Dukes remains the most iconic monument. Since 1799, the eastern wing of the Palace has housed the Museum of Fine Arts, which will be specially opened on Wednesday, June 24th, for a private evening tour for conference attendees, alongside a tasting of culinary specialties (eggs meurette, chicken Gaston Gérard, beef bourguignon, parsley ham, mustards, and gingerbread) and fine Burgundy wines that have made Dijon famous.
