- À Dijon, la transition écologique n’est pas une idée lointaine ou abstraite : c’est un engagement de terrain, quotidien, visible et partagé. Depuis plus de 20 ans, la métropole agit à tous les niveaux pour construire une ville plus durable, plus sobre en carbone et surtout plus solidaire.
Pour le dire autrement, la question de l'énergie, mais aussi celle de la biodiversité, sont des défis majeurs qui sont appréhendés de façon transversale dans toutes les politiques publiques portées par la Métropole : urbanisme, aménagement et usage des sols, mobilités, développement économique, alimentation, préservation des ressources, etc. Avec la conviction que l’énergie est un service essentiel auquel chaque citoyen a droit, à commencer par les plus fragiles, impliquant de passer d’une vision moins technique de l’écologie dans les quartiers à une vision qui émancipe les habitants et les rend acteurs de leur territoire.
Les choix décisifs qui ont été opérés dès les années 2000 pour tendre vers un territoire zéro carbone en 2050 distinguent ainsi Dijon métropole par sa capacité à agir sur tous les registres, au travers autant de projets structurants que d’actions de proximité, à l’instar parmi beaucoup d’autres du projet pilote européen RESPONSE : depuis mai 2025 sont opérationnels deux îlots à énergie positive dans le quartier Fontaine d’Ouche à Dijon avec pour objectif de produire 20% d’énergie de plus que ce que consomment les 600 logements et les 24 bâtiments municipaux impliqués dans l’expérimentation.
