Nordic pool: how to design and operate a public swimming pool while reconciling energy performance, quality of use and cost control?

Information

The Carrousel swimming pool illustrates the energy strategy of Dijon Métropole applied to one of the most energy-intensive facilities in the public heritage.
Powered by more than 70% renewable energy via the heat network (waste and biomass), it combines bioclimatic design, optimization of hydraulic and aerodynamic systems, water treatment by ozone and glass bead filter and fine control of equipment.
The design was created using a BIM model.
The visit will allow you to understand:
  • The building design and the technical choices made for the Nordic pool,
  • The complete energy operation of a swimming pool (heating network / electricity / uses),
  • The technical decisions regarding the Nordic basin,
  • The results obtained in operation (-7 to -10% savings depending on the items).
  • The complete energy operation of a swimming pool (heating network / electricity / uses),
A practical and reproducible feedback experience.

ATTENTION: Meet on site, 2, cours du Parc, at 2:30pm.
