The brand new Arsenal gymnasium is an example of eco-friendly construction, combining a load-bearing timber frame and straw bale insulation, complemented by the use of bio-based materials. (E3C2 rating, E+C label – Positive Energy and Carbon Reduction)
This design aims to optimize the building's environmental performance while ensuring a high level of thermal comfort and user experience. The building is connected to the district heating network and equipped with rooftop photovoltaic panels, contributing to a reduction in its energy footprint.
The whole thing is part of the ecological transition strategy led by the City of Dijon.
