Information
Put into service on April 11, 2019, the OnDijon project embodies on an unprecedented scale – making it a reference visited by delegations from all over the world – the remote management, coordination and maintenance of urban equipment in Dijon Métropole.
Public space objects (light poles, traffic lights, retractable bollards, CCTV cameras, etc.) and road maintenance services are all controlled from a single location: a central command center that collects all the data. All municipalities are involved, including the smallest ones.
Public services are thus better adapted to the needs of residents by ensuring their safety in real time and at a reduced cost, and by providing the best possible support for their mobility and the preservation of their living environment.
Set up in a secure 1,200m² space, this connected control center (the PPC) brings together around 80 people: around 35 agents from the various services of the community, 15 employees from the companies of the Bouygues - Citelum - Suez group as well as about thirty people from the company Keolis Dijon Mobilité.
The following are present within the cockpit:
• The staff of the telephone portal (town hall switchboard, CCAS, Allo mairie, Allo resto, sports…) who handle nearly 600 calls per day from residents,
• The agents of the Operational Information and Monitoring Centre (CIVO), composed of municipal police officers and video operators responsible for the security of public spaces,
• The teams of the group which coordinate and manage interventions in public spaces (bulky waste, street cleaning, graffiti removal, fire...), ensure remote monitoring of buildings and supervision of urban equipment (street lighting, traffic lights, pedestrian zone access points, electronic information displays),
• The DIVIA team in charge of mobility in the territory.
