While carbon footprint has been a key indicator of international and national policies for many years; while the general public and private actors have long been aware of the impact of “imported” GHG emissions, no public service offering has yet been proposed to integrate this type of emissions and build a comprehensive strategy for mitigating GHG emissions at the territorial level.
A key element for the mobilization of residents and economic actors in the territory, this blind spot in climate policies is causing significant reactions of frustration within the networks of local authorities most committed to the subject: "it is unthinkable today to conduct climate plans blindly".
Taking up this injunction, a group of national and regional experts gathered in a project called VoyaGES set themselves the challenge of co-constructing, with the support of ADEME and three pilot local authorities, the reference methods and tools capable of filling this gap.
Following an initial 15-month phase of work, these experts invite you to share with them the paths they have explored and the answers (data, methods, tools, knowledge) they are making available to the territories.
