The renovation of local authority buildings is often considered solely from an energy perspective. In order to go further and take into account other environmental and social dimensions (circular economy, social and solidarity initiatives, water conservation, impact on biodiversity and adaptation to risks and climate), the Sustainable Buildings Approach offers a framework and support for local authority renovation projects .
The main objective of this workshop will be to:
  • To present the requirements and main principles of the sustainable buildings approach as well as the associated financing levers;
  • Identify the technical and organizational levers to implement it at the community level.
The workshop will be led by ACTEE, with co-facilitation by Terragilis, which is leading the initiative in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. After a brief presentation of the sustainable buildings approach and its relevance to the renovation of public buildings, participants will be divided into small groups and asked to identify the buildings in their community where such an approach could be relevant, and then to determine the priority issues for their community among the various themes included in the Sustainable Buildings approach.
