Masterclass for Newly Elected OfficialsCareer path for elected officials
2026-06-24 | 03:30 PM - 05:00 PM | Morey-Saint-Denis Hall
Information
This Masterclass will focus on decarbonized mobility, and in particular through modal shift.
The goal will be to understand the challenges of decarbonization, as well as public health, social, and environmental issues, and to identify solutions that can be replicated in your local areas. Cycling, walking, public transport, carpooling, and car sharing will no longer hold any secrets for you.
In urban, rural, and peri-urban areas, what are the most suitable modes of transport, and how can intermodality be implemented?
What are the most effective levers for implementing ambitious mobility policies? Support for change will be central to the discussions, but so will infrastructure, its financing, mobility services…
Elected officials from different types of territories will share their choices, successes, and difficulties: come and exchange ideas with them to find the best solutions for your territory!
Experts will complement these political visions with practical information, key figures, and other feedback from experience.
Moderator: Aude ANDRUP, Coordinator of the People's Mobility Unit, Transport and Mobility Department & National Tourism Coordinator, Sustainable Cities and Territories Directorate
