Throughout Europe, energy and climate agencies have been supporting communities for many years in implementing energy efficiency measures, both in buildings and in mobility.
This workshop will highlight concrete initiatives: campaigns promoting soft mobility for children, deployment of cargo bikes for municipal agents and citizens, energy saving challenges around eco-friendly actions, or even winter comfort campaigns in Sweden, Romania or Belgium.
These actions are part of a broader European dynamic driven by projects like FEEL – Frugal cities , which promotes an approach based on sobriety and cooperation , developing simple, low-cost solutions co-constructed with local actors to "do more with less".
They also find support in initiatives such as the Citizen Energy Advisory Hub , which strengthens citizen participation and supports communities through resources, expertise and cooperation mechanisms around energy projects.
The program includes: feedback from experiences, inspiring tools and good practices collected at the European level to accelerate the transition towards low-carbon, resilient and competitive territories.
