Group purchasing of energy (electricity, gas, pellets, etc.) by public actors for residents and businesses provides a response to issues of purchasing power, information on the energy market and awareness of the development of renewable energies.
For almost 10 years, more than 400 communities (town halls, urban areas, local energy agencies, etc.) have organised group purchasing schemes to support the inhabitants and businesses of their territory.
These group purchasing schemes, in addition to being a solution in terms of purchasing power, allow us to reach out to residents to inform and advise them objectively on the topic of energy, as well as to promote renewable energies for electricity and natural gas.
