Information

A workshop offered by Dijon Métropole & EIFER.

The European project RESPONSE (2020–2026) brings together eight cities committed to demonstrating the transition to a sustainable and decarbonized city .

Dijon and Turku (Finland) have worked for six years on the creation and operation of two PEBs (Energy Performance Buildings) combining renewable energy production, storage, flexibility, intelligent monitoring, and citizen engagement. The demonstrators are located in the heart of Fontaine d'Ouche, a priority neighborhood, and in the Student Village, Turku's main campus.

As the project comes to an end, this workshop offers a technical and operational review presented by the partners who built and maintained these two PEBs .
On the agenda:
  • Concrete results after 6 years: real energy performance, emission reduction, impacts on usage.
  • Proven key technologies and solutions in PEBs: local RES production, energy management technologies, citizen mobilization.
  • RETEX cross-references of the two Lighthouse Cities (Dijon & Turku) and technical partners (EDF, CIRCE, Turku Energia).
  • Testimony from a City Fellow, who shares her perspective on replicating RESPONSE solutions in a new territory.
  • A review of shared experiences to understand what PEBs actually deliver on the ground and how these results can inspire other territories.
