Information

European perspectives and room for maneuver for the energy transition in times of armed conflict.
War in Ukraine, armed conflicts in the Middle East, growing industrial and technological rivalries: what are the prospects for the European Union in terms of energy in the months and years to come in this changing era?
This conference will review the European Green Deal, its progress and setbacks since the last European elections, and its impacts on businesses, households, territories, and energy operators.
Are the financial resources and political orientations for the development of renewable energies, energy efficiency, and the fight against energy poverty sufficient to meet the set objectives? How are member states taking ownership of these objectives? In this complex and particularly tense international context, what are Europe's real room for maneuver?
The floor is given to the heads of European and public affairs of historical energy operators, the President of ADEME, as well as the Directorate General for Energy and Climate to share their analyses of current and future energy challenges in France and Europe.
Speakers:
  • Guillaume GILLET, Director of Public Affairs, ENGIE
  • Marion LABATUT, European affairs director, EDF
  • Sylvie MATTELLY, director of the Jacques Delors Institute
  • Marie MURCHI, Chief of Staff to Sophie Mourlon, DGEC
