Business parks concentrate a large part of French economic activity, generating significant flows of people and goods. Often perceived as sources of disruption, these flows are the subject of particular attention aimed at making them more acceptable, more manageable, and more sustainable. Making the mobility of people and goods within business parks sustainable is possible and has already been implemented in some areas.
Alternative personal mobility to single-occupancy vehicles and modal shift of freight flows are the cornerstones of this sustainability, which is fully in line with a logic of decarbonizing flows, reindustrializing territories and access to employment and businesses.
Through concrete examples and feedback from its members (ArchParc, Inspira, and Finance Mobilité), the PALME Association proposes to study the subject in order to understand the success factors and financing mechanisms . Measuring the impacts of these changes in practices is also the subject of dedicated study and analysis tools, which will also be discussed during this workshop.
The workshop aims to highlight the factors driving change in practice and scaling up.
