Nantes Métropole is piloting the OSER approach, a heritage energy planning method structured in three stages: reducing and modifying consumption, producing locally, and purchasing sustainably. The approach integrates key current priorities: regulatory framework and planning documents, energy efficiency, self-generation, district heating networks, electric mobility, direct purchase contracts, electrification, etc., with the goal of achieving 100% local renewable energy in real time by 2030, 2040, and 2050.
After a brief presentation (approximately 30 minutes) of the lessons learned from the experiment, participants will be invited to work with the operational solutions developed through the OSER approach. They will analyze these solutions critically, discuss their relevance to their own constraints, and identify the conditions for adapting and deploying them within their organizations. Structured around the three OSER stages using dedicated flip charts, the discussions will allow for the sharing of concrete feedback, the comparison of approaches, and the identification of readily applicable levers, with a view to transposing them to other contexts. The workshop will be participatory, practical, and constructive: a forum where local authorities, operators, and experts can compare their realities, test the relevance of a common method, and collectively contribute to developing the OSER tool to support energy-efficient building strategies.
