Information
To offer everyone, in all living spaces, decarbonized mobility solutions.
How can we decarbonize mobility between urban and rural areas, while improving the quality of service and ensuring accessibility for all?
An equation with several unknowns that we propose to explore during this round table bringing together voices from the public and private spheres.
The SERMs, Regional and Metropolitan Express Schemes: how are Regions and territories using this tool to make public transport more competitive with private cars? Are they levers for decarbonization serving all residents? This session will provide a better understanding of these major national projects and their impact at the local level.
Because one of the major challenges of mobility policies is to ensure easy access to services and employment for all, we will explore the conditions for low-carbon yet inclusive mobility. Carpooling, on-demand transport, access to shared vehicles or bicycles… these are all solutions that can bring services closer to residents while taking into account local realities.
Finally, the session will highlight the importance of close cooperation between the different territorial levels, in order to better articulate high-performing major axes and local services, and thus build mobility that is efficient, equitable and adapted to the territories.
Speakers:
- Michel NEUGNOT, 7th Vice-President for Mobility, Transport and Infrastructure, and General Affairs, Bourgogne Franche-Comté Region
- Sandrine GAUBERT, operational director of KEOLIS Pays d'Aix
- 3 more to be confirmed.
