- PhD Eng. Desislava Koleva is a Director of Directorate “Sustainable development” in Gabrovo Municipality, Bulgaria. Her background is more than 30 years both in public and in private sectors, from an industrial manager of a large company to an expert in local economic development, strategic planning, regional development and smart specialization.
Main competences: Doctoral degree in „Effectiveness and management of telecommunication services“, Master degree in engineering and Master degree in Industrial management.
Ms. Koleva is a Project Manager of many EU projects fostering innovations, sustainable energy and mobility, climate adaptation and innovative nature-based solutions.Desislava Koleva is one of the main experts developing and implementing S3.
In collaboration with Regional Innovation Center “Ambitious Gabrovo” and Technical University of Gabrovo, she is working for Gabrovo Innovation Valley with focus in circularity and for Gabrovo’s Climate City Contract in EU 100 cities mission for climate neutral and smart cities.
